It was with deepest regret that on 8th September 2022, we heard the sad news of the passing of our Monarch for the past 70 years; HM Queen Elizabeth II.
For myself and most of the congregation, Queen Elizabeth is the only Monarch we have known and she has been an ever present in our lives. We have been honoured to have been ruled by a lady with such a deep faith in our Lord Jesus and a faith that she did not keep hidden but was prepared to talk about it even in her annual Christmas Messages.
You will be greatly missed Ma'am but I am certain that you have ascended to a better place; a place where you will live for eternity with our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
Thank you for your great length of service to our country and to us as your people. Rest in peace.
